PureArgan Skin Organic Moroccan Argan Oil (Also Suitable for Sensitive Skin)

(4.2 fl oz/120 ml)“I read on a couple of forums that argan oil was supposed to be good for eczema. I bought yours because you look like a quality company and the product looks high end. I didn’t hold much hope for it working as I have been let down so many times before but it has been marvellous and even my friends have commented on how good my skin is looking.”

Argan Oil – This is nutrient rich and contains essential fatty acids (EFA’s), vitamin E, polyphenols, carotenoids (provitamin A compounds), ferulic acid, triterpenoids and phytosterols. These components are important in making the body healthy, particularly the skin.Essential Fatty Acids – Essential fatty acids boost lipid content and help repair the skin’s integrity and natural barrier function. This helps protect delicate skin, improves moisture levels, helps the skin retain its own moisture which all leads to improved softness and elasticity.Topical application of EFAs have the added benefit of actually adding moisture and hydration, and these natural constituents become well absorbed into the epidermal and dermal layers of tissue.A deficiency of EFAs may well cause various forms of dermatitis and eczema. Another key benefit of EFAs are their anti-inflammatory properties.Reducing inflammation can effectively treat dermatitis and eczema and reduce the itching associated with these conditions.Less itching also leads to an improvement in eczema and dermatitis.Vitamin E – Scientific studies have shown that topically applied vitamin E has numerous skin care benefits. It is an excellent moisturiser and contains a powerful anti-inflammatory action which are both beneficial when treating eczema or dermatitis. It also has excellent wound healing properties.Polyphenols – Studies have shown that topically applied polyphenols successfully treat skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis.Carotenoids (provitamin A) – Recent studies show that in eczema, both the outer and lower layers of the skin are “leaky”.This leaky skin damage is caused by the increased colonisation of the skin surface and gland ducts by pathogenic microbes. So, how can vitamin A help eczema? First, vitamin A is known for suppressing excessive cellular growth in the skin. It not only reduces bacterial population in the skin but also in the gland ducts of the skin. This means that vitamin A compounds can help restore the protective barrier of the skin by stopping the bacterial damage that leads to leaky skin.In addition, vitamin A can relieve eczema by reducing local inflammation in the skin. It achieves this by blocking pro-inflammatory immune cells such as neutrophils and monocytes.Triterpenoids – Moreover, because of the presence of triterpenoids that protect from outside elements, argan oil can keep the skin well-hydrated, smooth and increase elasticity.Phytosterols – Argan oil contains phytosterols which calm sensitive dry skin to relieve dryness and irritation and restore barrier function.Phytosterols strengthen the skin’s own defence mechanism against irritation caused by barrier function deficiency and excess transepidermal water loss. The moisture binding capacity is naturally increased to maintain the skin’s own equilibrium, alleviating typical symptoms of dry skin like eczema and dermatitis. They increase the skins ability to store moisture.
Product Description

Organic Moroccan Argan Oil for Psoriasis, Flaky Skin, Itchy Ski, Scaly Skin & Dry Skin

Transformation Anyone?

Our soothing, organic Moroccan Argan oil can relieve the symptoms of psoriasis effectively, even if they have caused you distress for years.

It has been used in Morocco for centuries as a traditional remedy for psoriasis.

Inflammation, pain, itching, flaking, scaly and dry skin can become a distant memory.

Magic?

PureArgan Skin has already helped and transformed a staggering amount of people (we ran out of fingers and toes in the office to count them on a long time ago!)  and although it is gentle and works in harmony with your skin, it contains extreme power, and the results appear magical.

These magical results occur because we use natural botanicals that have been created by Mother Nature to transform and heal.

When her wisdom is combined with the wisdom of the ancients and our extensive knowledge of the science behind how these botanicals work and how your skin responds to them, magic can and does occur.

What Do the Boffins Say?

Many of the ingredients we use are clinically proven to be effective and studies are available online (great bedtime reading!).

Psoriasis occurs when skin cells are replaced up to ten times more quickly than usual.

Suppresses Excessive Cellular Growth

Argan oil reduces inflammation, irritation, itching and restores your skin’s barrier function therefore increases your skin’s ability to retain moisture.

It also suppresses excessive cellular growth which is a well documented cause of psoriasis. By performing these functions, argan oil relieves and cures psoriasis.

Nutrient Rich

It is nutrient rich and contains essential fatty acids (EFA’s), vitamin E, polyphenols, carotenoids (provitamin A compounds), ferulic acid, triterpenoids and phytosterols.

A bottle lasts on average three to six months, so it helps your well earned cash to go further.

About Argan Oil Production

Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the argan tree, endemic to Morocco, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties.

Our argan oil is a cold, first pressed oil, produced using a mixture of traditional and modern techniques to ensure a high quality product.  No chemicals are used in the process.

The argan tree is an endangered species and is under protection of UNESCO (argan oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world).

Nonetheless UNESCO, by creating a global market for this exotic oil, have taught the local people the value of the trees and instead of chopping them down for firewood or letting their cattle graze on them, they are protecting them.

The trees are now flourishing and so is the local community.

All argan oil sold today is produced by a women’s cooperative that shares the profits among the local women of the Berber tribe.

The cooperative has established an ecosystem reforestation project so that the supply of argan oil will not run out and the income that is currently supporting the women will not disappear.

The money is providing health care and education to the local women, and supporting the entire community as a whole.
