It’s so easy in these current times with the stresses and strains of modern life to sometimes forget who we are. To become lost.

So Mama Mature encourages you to re-connect with yourself and submit a four to six line poem telling us who you are. Who you really are and to get in touch with your authentic self.

For every poem displayed on our website and social media we will give you £50 worth of free stuff. If you need inspiration then why not have a goosey at Mama Nature’s Who Am I? page?

Although we would love to, we may not be able to show every one of your poems but if we don’t, at least it will give you the chance to re-connect with yourself and to give you valuable insight into who you truly are and who you are meant to be.

It doesn’t have to rhyme – that’s just Mama Nature’s style. She’s a poet and she didn’t know it 🙂

‘I dreamed of being a writer but became a busy housewife instead.
I got married, had three kids, and kept them all well fed.
Recently I’ve felt lost – like I couldn’t find my place.
Sometimes when I looked in the mirror I didn’t recognise my own face.
But now I’ve started writing again and I plan to write a book.
I was lost but now I’m found, and putting words on paper was all it took.’
